Can I download someone’s private snap or friend Story?
No, and we will not build that. Snaps sent to you are private, disappearing content — saving them without consent is exactly the misuse this tool is not for. Only publicly published Spotlight and Story links resolve.
Will the sender know I downloaded it?
This tool does not touch your Snapchat account at all, so it triggers no in-app notification. That said, Snapchat’s own screenshot and screen-recording alerts inside the app are unaffected by anything we do.
Why did my Spotlight link fail?
Spotlight content is removed frequently and some clips are geo-restricted. If the link opens in an incognito browser window without logging in, it should work here too.
