Reporting a link that will not download
This is the most helpful report you can send. Please include:
- The exact URL you pasted.
- The error message shown in the result panel.
- Whether the link opens for you in a logged-out browser window (a private/incognito tab is the quickest way to check).
If it does not open logged-out, it is not public and there is nothing we can do — that is the expected behaviour, not a bug.
Requesting a platform
Tell us which platform and roughly how you would use it. Platforms that publish real, public web URLs for their videos are feasible; ones that require an authenticated session are not.
