What we do not collect
- No account, name, email address or phone number — there is nothing to sign up for.
- No social media credentials, session cookies or access tokens. We never ask for them and could not use them if you offered.
- No third-party advertising or analytics trackers embedded in these pages.
- No copy of the videos you download. Files are streamed straight through and never written to disk.
What is processed
The link you submit. It is used in-memory to fetch the video and is not stored in a database.
Ordinary server logs. Like any web server, requests may be logged with an IP address, timestamp, user agent and requested path. These exist for abuse prevention, rate limiting and debugging, and are rotated on a short cycle.
A theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's own local storage. It never leaves your device.
Third parties
To resolve a link we make a request to the platform it belongs to (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or Snapchat). That request comes from our server, not your browser, so your IP address is not disclosed to them by this tool. Those platforms have their own privacy policies governing the content they serve.
Cookies
We set no tracking cookies. The only client-side storage used is a single localStorage entry remembering whether you prefer the light or dark theme.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect no personal information from them.
Your rights and contact
Because we hold no account data, there is generally nothing personal to export or erase. If you believe a server log contains information relating to you and you would like it removed, write to support@reelsdownloader.pro and we will handle it.
